Welcome to the Home of the Brighton R/C Hawks

A Radio Control Model Aeronautics Association

We are a small group who possess a great deal of knowledge in the areas of model building and flying. Our club started with a handful of experienced flyers wanting to get together to create a local flying field. Our club now has 30 plus members and is still growing.

Radio Control flying is open to men and women of all ages. Our Club membership ranges from highly experienced life long flyers and qualified flying instructors, to people taking their first steps in learning the finer art of R/C flying.

Our aim is to provide local R/C flyers with one of the finest flying fields in Ontario.

All aspects of our field conform with MAAC safety standards.

	Looking for Member with Truck or Trailer for Dump Run \| 19 Aug 10
09:17:47 by .William Casson \| Views: 32 \| Comments: 0 Hello: Brighton RC Hawks Members I am looking for someone to volunteer there truck or trailer to do a dump run, as it was discussed at the meeting that we should get the area around the shed cleaned up. There is some scrap metal (break rotors) no fence posts to be taken (T-bar needed for fence) there are some old white plastic chairs that need to be taken away as they are starting to become a hazard. We also need to get rid of the old grass roller. Anything garbage related Peter Corry has kindly offered a Dump Pass. I am not sure what scrap metal is worth right now but there has to be a couple hundred pounds or better with all the break rotors, so gas money should not be a problem. Please contact me and let me know if you can take this on. It will be arranged to have lots of help to load these items up and unload as well. 	New Date for Club Meeting \| 25 Jul 10

When I set the meeting date I looked at the calendar and thought the last weekend of July would be good, not looking at the August page of the calendar to notice the Holiday. I know having a meeting on a long weekend is not such a good idea. Again I apologize for this and will have the meeting the following weekend on August 7th 2010 at 2:00pm, rain date being being August 8th 2010 at 2:00pm. The location still being at the airfield.
